Santa Ynez Valley, California I’ve been married for 29 years to Frank Hovey. We have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Six short months after our wedding we moved to Hawaii and built a family import/retail business. After 8 years in sunny Hawaii, we moved to Utah, which turned out to be a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors and raise a family for the next 16 years. Frank’s employment brought us back to California, and we now live in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, just north of Santa Barbara. I enjoyed my purchasing career for many years, but after going back to school I ended up trading the corporate stress and briefcase for a massage table. I’m now a massage therapist and it’s a great life! |

No...I didn't marry Mike Thomas, but we are still friends today! My life is full and happy with my husband Alan Hanson of almost 20 years, Al, and our 19 year old son, Wes. I spent the majority of Wes's childhood as a volunteer in his shcool and sports activities-with 3 years spent as a "spy" working as a specialty shopper for a major grocery chain. Wes is now a sophomore at Chapman University in Orange, majoring in Communications. One of my greatest joy's in life is watching him perform solo, and with the Chapman University Choir. I sang in the choir at VP, but my son's God given ability and talent just blows me away! Al and I Rv and fish alot, and bowl once a week. I love to birdwatch on trips, but also greatly enjoy the hawks and others that inhabit our backyard. My current challenge is raising our one year old Jack Russell, Maverick, and keeping the peace with our 2 Siamese cats, Maximus and Phoebe. |
